Xtronika's interest in music sparked at the young age of eight years old when his parents surprised him on Christmas with an old Casio keyboard and enrolled him into piano lessons. From the beginning he wanted to write his own music. While other kids were learning to play Ode to Joy, he focusing his studies on piano theory and composition. As time led on and Xtronika grew older he spent much of his free time writing music. Most found it odd Xtronika sat comfortably in his room writing music while neighborhood children played until the street lights came on. Within a year of studying, Xtronika was performing his own original pieces for fairly large crowds at recitals, and thus his love of live performances was born. He continued to write and perform well into high school, until a friend of his introduced him to a set of turntables and electronic dance music. Within weeks of his introduction to the intriguing instruments, Xtronika went out and purchased his first set of direct drive tables and a small arsenal of vinyl. Slowly he lost his interest in his piano and spent hours in his bedroom tuning his skills on the decks, learning to beat match and mix his favorite tracks. After months of assaulting the walls of his bedroom with vibrant melodies and thick bass lines, he brought his skills to the underground. Going by the name of DJ Xcellerator, Xtronika performed at various underground events and outlaws through out his local scene. However, spinning records left him feeling unfulfilled, and he realized that his true passion wasn't spinning, it was composing his own music and performing. Realizing this he disappeared from the scene for awhile. He replaced turntables with synthesizers, and a mixer with a PC built for production. For a year he wrote melodic trance and techno, and deemed himself Xtronika. A connection and friend in the scene heard some of his work, and invited him to play a local club. His set blew the doors of the venue, and Xtronika's name began buzzing in the ears of clubbers and trance enthusiasts through out the area. After amounting a decent following and performing at few shows at venues scattered across New England, Xtronika disappeared again, this time to work on a full length epic trance album. As he produced and posted his new tracks on the popular website myspace.com and people responded. His local following of a hundred turned into a national following in the thousands. Industry professionals began networking with him and booking him for shows from Germany to California. Most will agree, what separates Xtronika from other trance producers his distinct unique sound and his live performance. Its not often you see such a talented artist perform his music live from an arsenal of synthesized weaponry. His hi energy sets and melodic floor pounding tracks have the ability to both capture your heart and move your body. America's night life and trance scene has a beautiful surprise blooming, and his name is Xtronika.
