Lyrics
She says that she's in love, And it's only a matter of time, But it doesn't make it any easier that, The days fly when I am left on the ground. If we could go back in time, There's nothing I would change; I would leave it all the same. Let your heart rule your mind, And time won't delay; trust me all the way. She says that she can't wait, And she knows it gets better than where we are, So she flies away until her arms get tired, And wonders how she ever got this far. If we could go back in time, There's nothing I would change; I would leave it all the same. Let your heart rule your mind, And time won't delay; trust me all the way. And now she knows that what she wants is real, And now she shows what she's been trying to feel, And now she's found what she thought was make believe, And now she's found everything in me. And now. She explains to me how the world should be, How everyone but she and I are gonna die. She says to me, "Oh, now I see." And I can see it in her eyes. And now.

It IS a catchy song - and stylized in the current popular vein (kind of sounds like Train) (who sound like...) (and this goes on and on). The lyrics need a little work (all those and's sap the energy of the chorus)... I can see a band picking this up, a studio filling it out, and it becoming a hit... (maybe I'll try it - just to see what happens - since I'm of a different era (though I've been through several already!)
