Story behind the song

Zeph.3:17 'He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.' I can imagine the delight God gets out of our worship and praise. He will be sitting on His throne rejoicing over us with singing and stomping His feet and clapping away. This might be the reason why Paul and Silas could get out of the Philippian jail because when Paul and Silas began to sing praises to God, He sang along with them and stomp His feet so hard that there was a violent earthquake because the earth is His footstool and the prison doors burst open setting the captives free. Praise the Lord. This is the power of praises.
