This is about capturing what has been in my head for quite some time...being a singer/songwriter is not about having control but more or less focusing on the music and not the musicians. I perform the piano, drums, bass, guitar, lead vocals as well as backup vocals. My life has always had a soundtrack but now i'm finally finding the words to share my past experiences. Isn't this what music was supposed to be? For those who have been patient, the first cd release of burke titled " Remnants " will be available in 2007.

Story behind the song
The music for this song was written on a Sunday morning over coffee...but the lyrics did not come to me until different experiences I witnessed over time and the need for those to be told.
