I'm just a 56 year old cement mixer driver who gets laid off every winter for 3 months.I enjoy writing songs and recording them myself at home on my 8 track Boss BR864 recorder. It's just another one of my many hobbies.I just do it for kicks.Just laid back musical enjoyment. I have lots of originals and collabs on my page.My originals are are true stories about me,or people I know,or how I feel about things.Collabs are all efforts of me and my Soundclick friends.Doing collabs is my favorite thing here on Soundclick.Hope ya enjoy some of the tunes.

Lyrics
Stuck In A Rut LaurelVarner(2006) Well I get up in the morn'in Put on my pants and shirt Have a cup of coffee Kiss my wife and head to work Every days the same thing Make a little money, cant save a dime Just want to get it over with I can hardly wait till quit'in time Propane tank is gett'in low Cold weather comm'in on Gonna have to order some My next check is already gone Mailman keeps on bring'in bills Three or four at a time Bill collectors mak'in sure They're gett'in my last dime (chorus) I'm stuck in a big rut Got no time for my own Got them honey do projects Wait'in on me,when I get home Yeah I'm stuck in a big rut Pay'in bills there aint no doubt It'd take a couple of D8 cats To even start to pull me out (Lead) Everytime it seems I get ahead And things are look'in up I try to splurg a little bit I got a couple extra bucks But that's destined not to happen Let me tell you why Murphys' Law is work'in hard To suck my wallet dry Yeah I'm stuck in a rut Daylight I'll never see Got all these bills and black clouds Hang'in over me So go'in to work and com'in home Every day it's gonna be Cause I cant get this deep old rut To turn loose of me (chorus) I'm stuck in a big rut Got no time for my own Got them honey do projects Wait'in on me,when I get home Yeah I'm stuck in a big rut Pay'in bills there aint no doubt It'd take a couple of D8 cats To even start to pull me out Yeah,it would take 2 D8 Cats To even start to pull me out Yeah it would take 2 d8 cats To even start to pull me out
