Singer songwriter blending different styles of music, including alternative, experimental, rock, pop, electronica and rap.
Acclaimed singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Bob Fuzz today announced his future plans at a press conference hosted by record label Fuzz Records. The program included a heartfelt speech by Fuzz, in which he laid out plans for the release of a brand new album later this year. âœThis album will be something completely unique for Bob Fuzz,â the artist said, âœa journey through world music, a concept album that explores different cultures within a consistent story arc.â Accompanying the album will be a book, written by Bob Fuzz and illustrated by artist Fredrik RydÃn, who worked with Bob Fuzz on album art on numerous occasions. âœThe book will be another thing never done before by Bob Fuzz. It will flesh out the story of the album and provide a back story. Together, both works will make up the whole story. While the albumâs name remains a secret, Fuzz did announce the creation of âthe Bob Fuzz Bandâ, for the purpose of creating the album. âœFor an album this complex, and with the live performances Iâm planning, it felt like the right move to move from a one man-project and assemble a band.â The band members were introduced on the stage at the event, to loud applauses. Veteran musician Dilly Repo, an old friend of Fuzzâ, will provide drums and percussion, Fill Fuzz, Bob Fuzzâs brother, who previously collaborated on song like âHouse of the Rising Sunâ and âNaturkontraktetâ, will play rhythm guitar, and on bass is hot newcomer Prozac Jones. âœAll three musicians I know well and have worked with in the past. Iâm proud to have them on board in the new band and Iâm looking forward to working with them on this new project.â Bob Fuzz also had some calming words for his longtime fans: âœAnd donât worry, it will still be my own personal music. I will still play most instruments, write the songs, and produce the album. So if you think Bob Fuzz is gone, youâre wrong. Iâm just broadening my horizons and collaborating with other skilled musicians. The event ended with Bob Fuzz presenting the band with his complete discography, in order to let them understand the Bob Fuzz sound for the studio sessions, which are slated to begin later this summer. In his closing words, the great musician had a special message for his fans: âœI know itâs been two years since my last album, and I know the wait has been hard, but it will be worth it. This one is gonna be really special, so hang in there! Stay alternative!â From Fuzz Records. - 12 December 2007 Some sad news to begin with, as my Live CD/Greatest Hits "Live in New York" has been cancelled/postponed/put on ice for the moment. I'm sad to make this decision but losing interest in my old material and booking/flight issues in New York made it almost impossible to release this album now. Maybe some time in the future it will be arranged, but don't count on it. If you were invited to the concert, I'm sorry. However it's not all bad as I decided to release the new song I created for this album as a single, and for free! And beat this: The song is in the music section RIGHT NOW! That's right, you can go listen to the new song NOW! That's gotta make you feel a little bit better about the album being cancelled I hope. About the future, I truly don't know. I don't feel any creative spark for a new album, but you never know. As I wrote before, it will definetely come out next year, and it will be something completely different, something that will blow you away. More than that I can't tell you because I don't know. Nothing is recorded yet. Until next time, listen to Mot Uppgivenhet, give feedback, and take care! Bob - 16 September 2007 to buy the new EP! And remember, Prunkade Desillusionering and the line of merchandise at ! - 10 August 2007 Hello everyone, how has it been? A lot has happened since I last wrote here, and I will adress them all accordingly. First, let me show you the new line of merchandise from Frysmongo Productions. There's all sorts of things, two t-shirts, pins, stickers, caps and much more. I myself can't wait to get my hands on this stuff, and my fans cant wait either! Finally there is official Bob Fuzz gear! Head on over to NOW, and get your own stuff! Now, let me tell you what's been going on. Last year the new album was released, renamed Reinkarnation in the last minute. It was a good album, with a few really good songs, but it wasnt quite what I had exprected. Therefore I made the decision not to publish it here on soundclick. Of you were waiting for it to be relased here, I'm sorry. Maybe in the future some of the better songs will be published here. After the project I lost some of my faith in my music and I had to take break to think. A few months ago, Bob Fuzz came back into play after almost one year, when the label Fuzz Records together with media company Frysmongo Productions decided to release the hit album Prukande Desillusionering worldwide! The cover art was remastered, and the booklet now includes an interview with me, and some of the first pictures of me taken for over 5 years. I am really excited to bring my music to a new audience. Hop on over to to pick up your copy today. The brand new release is sometihng to be hyped about as well. an EP with new material called When I was 12. When I was 12 was a song I made for a new album, and it got a really good response form the people I played it to. In fact the response was so good I wanted to publish it. Another idea I had was to give my fans a slice of what Bob Fuzz does in the studio. So on my computer I had some unfinished songs from my studio sessions. With this I decided to make an EP. It contains the great song When I was 12, and sometinhg I called Sudio Mix '07 that contains 3 unfinished tracks, a great chance to hear Bob Fuzz in the studio. This EP will soon be available to buy as well. And for you soundclick fans, the song is now up here as well, head on over to the music section and enjoy! What about the future? Well, I'm pleased to present Live in New York: The best of Bob Fuzz. Together with Fuzz records I decided it was time for a greatest hits album, but I also wanted to record a live album! So I will have a concert with all the greatest songs and record it live, then release it worldwide. I'm psyched for the project, so stay tuned. Next album, people ask me. Currently, there is no material for a new album, and no idea floating around, but when everything is done with the EP and the live album, I will definetely go back into the studio and record a whole album full of new material, I promise you that. You just gotta have some patience my friends! Take care fans, listen to the brand new song, buy the EP, enjoy true alternative music. Regards, Bob Fuzz - 5 July 2006 The next Bob Fuzz album - "Att Leva Att Dà Att Äta" is nearly finished. I've had two separate studio sessions, one two months ago and one about 3 weeks ago, and altogether I have 12 songs finished. All of the songs will not make it onto the album as I want to keep a balance between experimental tracks and "real" songs, and maybe a few new songs will be produced as well. Maybe the scrapped songs will make it onto the next "De Outgivna LÃtarna" album!? Who knows!? Here are some of the tentative song titles for the new release: Moment of Silence Uutiset Korv Myrkott Min Ideolgi Pitya Carpo Reinkarnation Work on my black metal release "Blood of the Chosen" has been postponed indefinetely. The two guys I asjed to record guitar bits for me (I dont have an electric guitar) didn't do it and I got tired of waiting for these two useless human beings to do what they promised. There are plans for a "Greatest Hits" release with the best Bob Fuzz songs from previous releases and maybe some new material as well. The thought behind this is that a lot of people have not heard some of the old material that is not avaliable on this website, and this would be a
