Val Davis is a singer/songwriter who since 2002 has been getting some notice. In 2002 he was a finalist at the SolarFest singer/songwriter competition. In 2003 his music was featured on National Pulic Radio (NPR) and his music is currently getting airplay at several college stations around the US including XPN in Philadelphia. Val and his family returned to Vermont in Dec 2003 where he does web design and internet broadcasting.

Story behind the song

I wrote this song while sitting alone in a cabin in the Upper Pennisula of Michigan. It was cold, snowy and I my wife and I had just seperated. Funny how these things come out.
