Formed in 1999 by guitarist Tommy Thompson and vocalist Jason Roby, Transmission’s lineup became final in early 2001 with the addition of drummer Josh Hack and bassist Greg Sword. Evident in their heavy commercial melodies, Transmission is pure chemistry! With dynamics ranging from hushed wisps of layered air to body-pounding punches, Transmission produces a darkly energetic stage show that completely absorbs the audience. As the band prepares to release their self-titled debut EP, their popularity in the Southeast continues to grow. The band is currently performing in venues in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida with tour expansion expected over the next several months.
