Experimental Industrial Music
R.I.V.T. was formed in late November 2005 by Mason Rivera and Rueben Sandoval. Soon after this formation the band began production on their first album “Apparitions”, and after a full 9 months of experimenting and combining several musical elements “Apparitions” was released. The result was a dark, unique, and vulgar display of sound. Upon it’s release, the album received amazing responses from anyone and everyone who would take the time to really listen to it. Without the help of a record label and mostly through word of mouth, R.I.V.T. received requests for “Apparitions” locally, nationally and overseas. Several attempts were made to play live, but R.I.V.T. soon realized the near impossible task of finding musicians in their area that had the same mind set. Despite this set back, work continued with a featured song on a local fundraising compilation CD and another trek into the studio to write the follow-up album “Needled” in late 2006. R.I.V.T. featured a new track entitled "Deadlok" on the Midwest Nailgun Records: Vol. 1 compilation (OUT NOW!!!) and "Needled" is set for release late 2007/early 2008
