Story behind the song
Here the history which gave me the inspiration of making Trojan Horse music.
After having vainly besieged Troy during ten years, the Greeks have the idea of a trick to take the city: Épéios builds a giant horse out of hollow wooden, in which a group of soldiers carried out by Ulysses hides; the animal is then abandoned as offering with the gods whereas the remainder of the Greek army makes mine leave. A Greek spy, If not, succeeds in convincing Troyens to accept the offering, in spite of the warnings of Laocoon and Cassandre. The city makes a great festival then, and when the Greeks leave the horse, the inhabitants are taken by the torpor of alcohol. The Greeks open the doors then, allowing the remainder of the army to enter and plunder the city: all the men are killed, the women and the children taken along like slaves
