Artist picture
I'm a songwriter and ex-solo club performer. I decided to record a few of my tunes, so I called in some friends. I do lead and harmony vocals, lead, rhythm, and bass guitar. Chick plays all the keyboards (piano, organ, synthy). Ernie Lebeau does an underlying rhythm guitar track on 'Down South', and also does drum tracks on 3 songs. Larry Snider does the lead guitar on 'Everytime You Look at Me', Kelly Craven plays drums on it, and Scrappy Proctor sings harmony.

Story behind the song
I'm a die-hard shag dancer, and like to dance to R&B as well as country blues. When you grow up in the Carolinas, you learn to dance as soon as you can walk. The strong suits of ACC basketball lie along tobacco road. And going to the beach to party and hunting with the hounds is still in vogue. Hence, the lyrics of the song.
