I bring songs about love, spirit, sustainability, family, fun, peace, freedom and Aloha.
Aloha, I moved to Maui from the West Coast of California in 1974. Traveled the world. Played in clubs and bars, at camp fires and festivals, on boats and trains, in living rooms and parties and main stage for 10,000 people. Still going strong. I write songs about life, love and the pursuit of nothing-ness. We all need each other to make life work. The latest CD was recorded in the jungle on Maui with solar power. Stream on Spotify, Pandora, iTunes and ReverbNation. Cd's available. Be kind. Michael Sky: Vocals, guitars, mandolin, bass, harmonica.

Lyrics
Far from any highway, there's a place where mountains kiss the sky. Beauty all around you there, the colors of the earth they fill your eyes. Blues and greens of a western dream, of a love he had and lost so long ago, He goes riding out alone into the great unknown, and he wonders will he ever make it home. The wind blows and the rain it falls, at times you hear a lone coyote call. Once he thought she called his name, it was just that ole coyotes game. Blues and greens a western dream, of a love he had and lost so long ago, He goes riding out alone into the great unknown, and he wonders will he ever make it home. Why do we keep holding on, to something that is oh so far long gone, gone somewhere, into the great unknown. He'll keep on riding out into the great unknown, and he wonders if his heart, will ever find it's way back home. Far from any highway there's a place where mountains kiss the sky, beauty that's around you there, the colors of the earth they fill your eyes. Blues and greens of a western dream, of a love he had and lost so long ago, He goes riding out alone into the great unknown, and he wonders will he ever make it home. Is he ever gonna make it home again, will he ever make it home again, home sweet home. home sweet home again.
