I always found this scripture from Matthew to be troublesome as it appears, at first glance, that Jesus is turning away this woman because she is not a Jew. But then it became clear to me that despite the fact that His mission was to the Jews first, Jesus' love would welcome any of us, at any time, under any circumstance. All we need to do is ask.
