Two tunes. One is the Harvest Home Hornpipe like you have never heard before. The second is called Patch's Jig. I wrote this back when I worked with a Band called Amberhawke.

A traditional celtic pub band with great sing alongs and instrumentals.
We are an Irish Band with players from all over the Dallas Fort Worth area who just enjoy playing together. It's all about the good times and we just can't help it that the music is the craic as well. Our Band Manager and Heart beat thumper likes to use the slogan; "Reel Good, Reel Fast." You catch him saying his favorite thing if you listen up; "Beer Please" Our Penny Whistle man, Wizard of the hammered Dulcimer and soulful singer of Scottish Ballads says; "It's all about the good times. Beer Please." Our lead vocalist, and majorly accomplished guitarist says; "Let's play the stuff they really like. Beer Please" The Band Leader, Deranged Fiddler, and singer of silly Irish songs says; "Get your own beer and stop drinking mine!" Our Mandolin player and most recent addition says; "I prefer Jamesons"

Story behind the song
I wrote Patch's Jig one day as I was waiting for a show to begin. I just sat in the car smoking cigarettes, picking my Mandolin and getting bored. The end result was anything but boring. The revisited version of Harvest Home was quite by accident. I was really quite tired of that tune but it came to my fingers uninvited. I made a mistake and hit an F natural instead of an F sharp. Within a few minutes, the original tune had evolved into the version on this recording.
