Story behind the song
Alyssa's Dad dropped her off after a really good vocal lesson and as the door closed behind her, a really bright shooting star shot over the house in the background. By the time he got to the studio where he writes.....he had the song mapped out.
Lyrics
Reflections in the water...looking back Down at the park I swear I saw the shooting star But the sky was dark that night You and me there all alone If I would've known this would happen I would've never gone I would've just stayed home all alone Chorus: Cuz I'm gonna hold onto my innocence For just about as long as I can And I'm gonna go and find me that shooting star No matter how hard, without you, without you (Chorus) Now here we go again another day Same old story yeah but the name has changed But the games the same again (Chorus) without you And I'm gonna go and find me that shooting star No matter how hard, without you, without you without you, without you........without you
