The music is original, creative and from the heart. I hope you have as much fun listening as I had making it. Thanks for tuning in. Keep fighting the good fig
'Perfusion' is the moniker for this one-man musical juggernaut. I record all of my own material in the basement, after the kids are asleep! One track has a female backing vocal but all the rest is just l'il ol me. About 2/3 of the songs were done using Studio One - 3 and ProTools computer based software and the others on the Boss BR 1180 free-standing workstation. In 2015 and 2016, string orchestra pieces I wrote were features in the season with the Turtle Creek Chamber Orchestra. In 2011 I was honored to receive the Janesville Arts Council People's Choice Award for Outstanding CD/Song for "I Married the Prom Queen"...

Story behind the song
I kept hearing "It just doesn't matter" as a song so I figured I'd better write it before someone else does!
Lyrics
It Just Doesn’t Matter I went to the mat, I got up to bat, always know where you’re at, but you left me begging. Never distant or bored, dissonant chord, always on board, Just want to fall on my sword, Bend over backward to please, dropped to my knees, caught your disease, You never saw me coming. Now it just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter any more. Now it just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter anymore. Tell little white lies, wear your disguise, impress all your spies, And you’re disconnected I laugh when I’m told, cry when you’re cold, never out of the fold, Did you ever wonder? Can’t you make it right, you flip off the light, it’s not black & white, When you dream in color. Now it just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter anymore. Now it just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter anymore. I broke down and let you in, Threw this game and let you win, Broke the bank to bring you home, Never felt so all alone I built you a castle, wore a white tail coat, I found myself sleeping with the dragons in the moat, I traded in my youth for the promise of tomorrow, I took off the gloves, but I couldn’t fight the sorrow, Now it just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter anymore. Now it just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter anymore. I thought I was strong, you proved me wrong, and I don’t belong, Where the cold winds blow, I had the right to remain, silent in pain, locked in your chains, when I found the key, Humble steadfast and true, hadn’t a clue, till death are we blue, Till death are we blue.
