and . for the rest, it means more to me than anything that these songs to you have meant . love always, lawton (jonah) ok this is the thing i do, everybody has their own "thing" you know, i've got some friends for example some like to scribble in journals or make collages, i know some people who play basketball, some people who decorate aquariums, who babysit, its not really a matter of honor or payment or amusement or even plain killing time its just singing the true song of your soul. i'm eighteen years old, i'm slightly nearsighted, i like to wear stripes, i hate the way certain words sound and i would like to sing for you, if you like these, feel free to burn them to cds for your own private pleasure or order official copies ($1 each) from . four sample songs four more sample songs good friday's label. order cds for $1 each here.

Lyrics
i never sang a song i would cheer for nor one that could ever make me smile. see, they all take me back to the illness i had when i wrote them all back a while. and i wish you wouldn't ask about meaning, i've tried my best to say what i'm about. though i know that if ever i want to be heard i'll stop whispering, and learn how to shout. but i doubt that i'll ever get there. no, in fact, that dream's mostly shot. how would you hear me, when death's on your tv and you don't even give it a second thought? no, you're not gonna stop for just one voice when you've ignored the thousands that've been, and i know that each one would cut out their tongue if it meant they could be heard again. well, i don't really need the attention and if you turn a deaf ear, i'll be fine. cause if i'm gonna sing, i'm gonna do it for me and my friends will be next in line.
