Contemporary music with a message...
The beginning of this work goes back to the late '90s. Although a believer since 1983, I had allowed sin to once again rule my life with devastating results. Having come to my senses, I fell on my face and sincerely asked God to give me one more chance to be the man that He wanted me to be. God heard my prayer and began doing a serious work inside of me, one that I was finally willing to let Him do. Today I am a substantially different man, one who has begun to learn the value of abiding in Christ every day. To know Jesus Christ and to live openly and honestly before Him and other men is the focus of my life now. I hope that these songs somehow express that. It is my prayer that they will bring blessing, encouragement and healing to others like myself who love the Lord and are still in the battle against personal sin. We have a great Savior and He makes us... Free Indeed! God bless... Dale J. Mayer and , two great places to spend some time.

Story behind the song
Feeling grieved in my spirit over some conversations that I had recently had, I was praying Friday evening for the Lord to pour out His Spirit on our congregation. Almost immediately, this song began forming in my mind and after 20 minutes pounding it out on the piano, it was done. Recorded it live... my first P&W song.
Lyrics
Open our hearts Lord... Pour yourself in. We turn away from... Old ways of sin. We want to see Jesus; We want to know Jesus; Nothing but Jesus; Nothing but Him! And with every single breath we take, May Your Spirit to our souls awake.
