"From the abstract dream of stardom to the concrete reality of this CD, what you hear is my journey of thirty years. Back then, I simply loved playing my guitar and capturing the heart of emotions with my words. It was my fanciful hope, however, that if the audience would discover my music, then I would become a star. But the trio that I had started for my vehicle for my vision had broke up. Solo, I continued my drive, but found myself traveling farther and farther away from my artistic ideals and aspirations. Ten years of gigs later, I put down my guitar, too bitter and disillusioned by the commercial world to play another chord or utter another lyric. Over the next twenty years, the love of my wife and family resonated deep within me, increasing the intensity of every emotion. Better late than never, I was finally ready to express what i felt without needing the adulation of strangers. So, I picked up my instrument again, and, within a few months, I was back, playing my old songs, but I also was able to move foward, by writing new ones and recording both new and old in a local recording studio.
