Just me and the Home Studio XL, me playing guitar for the first time in 20 years or so. Used to record on a little four track casette thing back then. Who'd have ever thought you could have an entire digital recording studio in your own home so few years later. Why, we'll all be wearing silver suits and flying around with jet packs soon, mark my words.

Story behind the song

First real attempt at recording a complete track. Listen out for me going out of time on one of the guitars before the drums kick in. As always I intended to go back and drop in but didn't. The guitar break was sort of improvised, as the original doesn't have one, then recorded in one take and as someone who classes themselves as 'shit' in the guitar stakes, I was actually dead chuffed with how it came out. As always, I find my own voice dreadful to listen to but I learnt a lot about EQ'ing from the guys in the Cakewalk forums which helped me get them to sit a little better in the mix.
