Dre D-Z is a commercial/mainstream/radio rapper and does not ever deny it and stays proud in his work. Instead of your typical “rapper”, Andre (Dre D-Z) was born in Hayward and rasied in Sacramento. Throughout the years of childhood, he went through his parents divorce, and moving constantly wit his relatives from Fremont, California to the Bay Area. He went to a middle school named John Muir, where he met two fellow friends; James and Segun. James in the 6th and Segun being in the 7th grade, he met James through Segun. During that period, they become friends very well and was hanging out at lunch tables and the library freestyling where ever they could. Segun had thought about us becoming a group, though he came up wit UFB (Universal Flowin Brothaz), Andre and James were “iffy” but we stuck with it. They eventually practiced and practiced, and performed at San Fransico 3rd Street Feastival twice in 2 years, at the San Leandro Cherry Feastival, and both night and day performance at John Muir Middle School’s “Talent Show”. The group sooner or later departed, but remained best friends. Dre D-Z had the heart and kept at his talent and is boosting it every second he gets. From a “fat boy” Andre had hard times with girls and being with the “in-crowd”. Dre D-Z has now fully acieve his part in his life, where rapping begins as a career instead of a hobbie. He's workin on his new mixtape "NAPTIME" and it will be 10 times better then the first. He may not have lots of money or fancy material things right now. But if Dre D-Z makes you laugh throughout his music, then he has done his goal as a rapper (is to make u smile and laugh). DTP is somewhere he wants to be, then evenually meet his idol Ludacris.
