The 6t's... Bringing you music from the swinging sixties
6T’s band was formed to perform music solely from the sixties as we feel this was a magical decade, all the numbers we play are instantly recognised, they either make you want to dance or sing, each number is played as it was, no extra verses or guitar solos. If it only lasted 2 minutes that’s what we’ll play. The band members were chosen with no big ego’s who would perform for the publics benefit not there own.
The band was formed in March 2004 and played there first gig in June and since then have quickly built a big reputation and following in the area.
You will not get the chance to become bored as in a night we will perform in excess of 50 huge hits from that era with a little sprinkling of rock and roll. We know that’s cheating but that’s when it all changed.
Our two biggest gigs to date were Troy Corsers world superbike champion1997 birthday party which was a huge bash with lots of stars from the motorbike racing fraternity and recently a huge Charity night where we teamed up with Radio Cambridgeshire for Gillam Gold Night, over 500 people with all proceeds going to the Tsunami appeal.
The band can provide a complete service for any type of evening, lighting, we can provide our own dj and disco, sound engineers and equipment to suit any size of venue.
