Another awesome track of yours! There's nothing like the vintage sounds of a Fender Rhodes, Hammond Organ, etc. And you do a very special use of it.
‘Mind Matter’ is fun to listen to, panning the syncopated riffs supporting the melody underneath and increasing the volume on certain accents. Your percussive insight, in highlighting some of the accents with volume (ie fff (triple forte), mp (softer), is fresh and exciting. I imagine you’ve studied classically, or hung out with great classical percussionist who carried their knowledge over into other genres. Or you have researched/studied independently like myself, surrounding yourself in as many genres as possible, listening to and performing with as many ensembles in numerous variations as possible and maybe, just maybe you’ve enjoyed reading music scores and instrumental charts of various instruments (classical and other genres) from the very beginning. No matter how you’ve cultivated your gift, it shows that you know your stuff. Looking forward to more, more, more!!!!
