Story behind the song

This one was totally unplanned tonight..I had originally wanted to work on a pop rock piece I had started but was not into it. This one was created out of a drum machine pattern. All guitar tracks were recorded using my red PRS guitar (single coil) and Ibanez 5 string bass. This one is influenced by my addiction to the musical style of Pink Floyd, I have been in a Pink Floyd musical mood for the past few weeks...lol. I owe tons to the influence of David Gilmour on my style of playing. Hope you enjoy and thanks for listening!! Recorded night of July 7th 2005 Mixed through KRK Studio Monitors. (First mix using these monitors). Used an assorted selection of audio plugins and a Steinberg usb media interface. A real "old" beat up CryBaby wah pedal was used on the lead track that introduced quite a bit of noise that I find almost impossible to remove from this track. The track was cleaned as best as technically possible with the tools that I have however some noise is still there...time for a new wah pedal! lol
