Katie started her singing career as a bet with her dad. While attending a flea market sale they became attuned to a man plucking his guitar and singing on a stage. Her dad dared her to go and ask if she could sing a song. Well it took a small amount of encouragement in the form of a five-dollar bet that she wouldn’t do it, with that in her heart and wanting 5 bucks the child grew bold. Ask she did. and sing she did .it turned out the man on the stage was with the Ark-La-Tex Music Show "Tribute to Legends" in Many, La. where she sang every month for 3 years. She’s been dubbed 'a lil bit country and a lil bit rock and roll ' in the many different types music she sings and likes. She feels music should be fun, and fun she has, singing the many different tunes in her heart and gaining a few laughs along the way. From as far back as she can Remiember she Loved to sing. She concurs " There's nothing like seeing a smile on someone's face and knowing you helped put it there with music". It has always been Katie’s Dream to sing on stage. She works hard and believes it takes hard work to obtain that Dream.
