Hailing from Brazil, Tuatha De Danann play music that is best described as Irish, and they do it rather well. They are similar to Mago De Oz but not quite so polished, which is a good thing really. They have their own unique style to bring to proceedings. Kicking of with a tuneful wail of pipes "The Dance of the Little Ones" sets the tone for the whole album, a rocking toe tapper. I defy anybody to sit still or refrain from singing along with the songs on offer. The next couple of songs continue in the same vein until midway through the next track "Tan Pinga Ra Tan" when things get a little bizarre with some weird chanting, before settling down again. Next up is "Finganfor" which deserves a mention as being the only song I've ever heard that made me laugh out loud when listening to it! In the middle there is the line "Let's go to the magic palace of Finganfor" sung in a crazy high pitched voice which is totally incongruous. Some of the lyrics are almost like children's nursery rhymes whilst others are very well done, it all adds to the overall fun feel of the album. Normality returns with the tale of "Vercingetorix", and the acoustic "Celtia" wouldn't be out of place on Led Zeppelin III. It's back to the nursery for the title track, which is very enjoyable nonetheless and another acoustic piece closes the album. Overall this is definitely a "feel good" album and fans of Celtic folk metal should definitely check it out.

Lyrics
Trova Di Danú Do you know the oldest song of Earth? Deeper than the sea... It's been written by The immortal charmed beings If you listen to a little piece of this past play You could wander till the rest of your days Come with me, maybe I'll show you Some tunes of this dance Leave away the old to become the new Look out! Now your dreams can Hunt you down even you wake Float with me, forget the rest you (used to) concearn Follow me throughout this marvelous scene Dance with my folk... Let the music guide your movements now. Welcome - Shine on! Here you'll find So many things that surely you once lost Ancient treasures, maybe green secrets Secrets of tunes We are back to bring your beauty And maybe delights Screaming louder our power hymns Always getting high We are the people of Danú You know - surrender! We're inviting you to come with us.... Welcome... It's fly time... We are back to bring your beauty And maybe delights Screaming louder our magic coloured hymns Always getting high We are the people of Danú You know - surrender! We're inviting you to come with us.... Welcome... You know it's your time... Lines of the long waited poetry Beyond the silent rocks - Still the dream Dialogues, the white ride is just begun We are back to bring your beauty And maybe delights Screaming louder our magic coloured hymns Always getting high We are the people of Danú You know - surrender! We're inviting you to come with us.... Welcome... You know it's your time... Lines of the long waited poetry Beyond the silent rocks - Still the dream Dialogues, the white ride is just begun
