Jeff Buckley's solo act meets Ani Difranco's methodology of expressive singing with a hint of Martin Sexton.
I got into music at a very young age. Starting out at a drummer in middle school I quickly realized that I had to be doing something melodic so I began to sing. The natural progression of course is to pick up a guitar when you start singing so I decided to give that a try and here I am years later writing songs and hopefully good ones. I just enjoy taking whatever melody is going through my head and just playing it no matter the style or instrumentation. From time to time I wonder if a style such as mine could ever be something that people would enjoy listening too so I'm putting some songs out there to see.

Story behind the song
Amazing what a specific mood, a guitar, pen, and paper along with 30 minutes to kill can do.
Lyrics
Just a word this name that permeates my existence An infant I in this overwhelming delusion, they call it reality. When is a smile just a smile, when is it unspoken denial? Flirting with eternity thrust upon the pyre of anticipation of a spark longing for the fire that consumes this moment, known only as a dream waiting for you to close your eyes. All I want is for existing and being alive to reconcile their moral dilemna and come to fruition in a moment, anytime now, anytime you want now (So with a slumbering mind seeing skies infinite for the first time) It consumes this moment. Right now, whenever you are. Constantly changing, I remain lost with a chance of rain-taking a piece of you with me just a thought, a glimmer, a piece of dry land from which these words depart. Destined for oblivion or eternity the same forever we chose to be. Constantly reminding me of my existence, that reality is scripted for those who can never change, but for the rest we end up together at the same time.
