Soulstitia from Utrecht, Holland was founded in late summer of 1999 and found her present line-up in the summer of 2000. The band plays atmospheric gothic metal, varying from dreamy melodic parts to explosions of aggression and bombasm. The male and female vocals contribute to a wide musical experience. Influences can be heard of bands like Trail of Tears, Lacuna Coil and Tristania. Up till now Soulstitia recorded two demo-albums: Equinox (2000) and Second (2002). Both demo-albums got positive reviews in magazines like Aardschok, Metal Maiden and on the internet (Rockezine, Lords of Metal). At this moment Soulstitia is busy recording her first full length concept-album, which is expected in June 2005.
