Contemporary music with a message...
The beginning of this work goes back to the late '90s. Although a believer since 1983, I had allowed sin to once again rule my life with devastating results. Having come to my senses, I fell on my face and sincerely asked God to give me one more chance to be the man that He wanted me to be. God heard my prayer and began doing a serious work inside of me, one that I was finally willing to let Him do. Today I am a substantially different man, one who has begun to learn the value of abiding in Christ every day. To know Jesus Christ and to live openly and honestly before Him and other men is the focus of my life now. I hope that these songs somehow express that. It is my prayer that they will bring blessing, encouragement and healing to others like myself who love the Lord and are still in the battle against personal sin. We have a great Savior and He makes us... Free Indeed! God bless... Dale J. Mayer and , two great places to spend some time.

Story behind the song
This is a rough cut of a song that I've been working on for use in prison ministry.
Lyrics
I’ve Never Met A Man God Didn’t Love Copyright ©2005 by Dale J. Mayer, All Rights Reserved VERSE 1 Some of the best men that I’ve known have been offenders, They broke the law and now they’re doin’ time. Though their hearts had gone astray, now they’ve found a better way. They’ve repented, now they’re sorry for their crimes. Some of the worst men that I’ve known have been offenders, They broke the law and now they’re doin’ time. But their hearts are cold as ice, they’re really not that nice. They’ve been apprehended , but they’re not sorry for their crimes. BRIDGE 1 Well, two men hung on crosses beside Jesus one day; One man asked for mercy, the other turned away. The Lord was there for both of them, but only one could see The love of God being poured out beside him on a tree. CHORUS I’ve never met a man God didn’t love; There is no limit to His grace from above. From the heart, warm and tender, to the vilest offender, I’ve never met a man God didn’t love. VERSE 2 Now in God’s eyes, every one of us is an offender; We broke His law and now it’s just a matter of time ‘Til we stand before His throne, the truth will all be known; We’re all sinners… there must be justice for our crimes. BRIDGE 2 You see, Jesus died for each of us, there are no exceptions; The truth of it is that none of us could pass a close inspection. The best, the worst, and in between; yesterday and today We have an equal opportunity Savior and this is why I say… CHORUS I’ve never met a man God didn’t love; There is no limit to His grace from above. From the heart, warm and tender, to the vilest offender, I’ve never met a man God didn’t love. (repeat)
