DJ PHAZE (Northeastern, Ohio, USA) I grew up in the early days of hip-hop and my friends were into breakdancing and rapping, I was too fat to breakdance and couldn't rap worth sh!t, so I started DJing in jr. high school after being intrigued by the video of Herbie Hancocks "Rock It". Seeing Grandmixer DST scratching for the first time blew my mind. We had an old record player in the house and I gave it a try and found that I was pretty good at it and my interest grew. After years of working with the most basic equipment available, I finally was able to take to to the next level and now you got to see for yourself how I do my thing. The new technology available to us today was unimaginable to us just a few years ago. This is the best time in my life to be a DJ, especially a hip-hop DJ/Remixer, because hip-hop is finally accepted by the masses.
