Dawn is a country girl from Rural Alberta and has been writing songs for 15 years.
Hi I'm just a country girl from Alberta and I have always had a love for music and grew up listening to the Country Greats like Loretta Lynn, Lynn Anderson, Tammy Wynette, George Jones to name a few. My parents always had the music playing. My Dad also had some great 45's from the 50's and 60's and I still remember listening to Elvis and Buddy Holly . I have been writing songs for about 15 years now and I have found it to be a fun hobby. Now I enjoy the music of Leann Rimes, Celine Dion, Brooks & Dunn, Dixie Chicks, and Keith Urban to name a few.

The job’s so demanding and the hours are long, she’s put to the test, and she’s got to be strong. She often wonders how she keeps up this pace. She no longer want’s to run this rat race. She can’t help but think about things that she’s missed, a marriage, a family is a dream that she’s wished. Chorus She’d like to find a love that’s true. She long’s to hear him say I love you. As she thinks of past years and the life that she’s made. Her eyes fill with tears cause of the price that she’s paid. Her married friends all say that she has it made. Her life they would love and right now she would trade. When she was twenty that never crossed her mind. Now that she’s thirty she thinks it all the time.
