I am a pseudo-medieval musician, scribe and artificer. With layered levels of simple instruments, my sounds are often uniquely archaic. While some of my music is entirely original, most of my numbers are my personal arrangements of renaissance and medieval melodies from antiquity. Story behind the song
This is a piece of faire filk that I wrote when I was in an odd mood one day. I used some traditional faire type instruments when I recorded this track. A friend commented on the 'distortion' he heard on the dulcimer. Distortion? naw, those are drones.
Lyrics
Gwenevere she is queen... Gwenevere When the queen arrives, the knights all stop and stare. She’s married to the king, so nothing else they dare. they call her... Gwenevere she is queen... Gwenevere Oh Yea Huzzah! Whenever she feels like showing who she likes the best, She will never hesitate to send you on a quest. because she’s... Gwenevere they call her.. Gwenevere Sometimes when Lancelot visits Camelot, We can’t help but notice that the queen is gone a lot. we’re missing... Gwenevere they call her.. Gwenevere because she’s... Gwenevere she is queen... Gwenevere
