Ashleigh hales from the suburbs of Houston, TX where she began strumming “Puff the Magic Dragon” with her summer camp councilors when she was ten. She attended the Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, OH and re-located to Hollywood after backpacking cross country on a greyhound bus. She incorporates these and other experiences of life and love in her spirited, melodic, rock infused folk songs. Ashleigh's crystal clear silvery voice and infectious positive energy keeps her devoted audiences rapt throughout each performance. Red guitar and harmonica in tow, she's a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll.

Lyrics
Just when I got my feet on the ground I'm leveled again But the way he touched my face, salvation He's so obviously not from L.A. I already named our children I packed my bags and I'm heading for New York If he calls me I might head for New York Then there's you, you're so focused on the truth I feel so silly and I want that kind of peace of mind I want I want I want I want I want Peace of mind There's always some illution to trip me up The oasis of fame or a beautiful boy The way you shine your such temptation I want to dive right into you Shield me from this distraction I want to hear what's goin' on I want I want I want I want I want The way you smile Makes me feel so shallow and I I want that kind I want I want I want I want I want Peace of mind Peace of mind
