I am a guitarist passionate about combining Flamenco with other genres of music such as Jazz, Middle Eastern, Techno, Dance, Classical etc. World Beat Flamenc
I was born in the Middle East ( Lebanon). In the last fifteen years, I lived in Paris, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Montreal and now New York city. I studied traditional Flamenco guitar with Mariano Cordoba and Kenny El Lebrijano in San Francisco, and David Serva in Spain. While I am classically trained in traditional Flamenco, I do not consider myself an authentic Flamenco guitar player since my passion is to combine Flamenco with Western and Eastern musical genres -a practice frowned upon by Flamenco purists-. I am committed to promoting world fusion music as a means of fostering cross cultural understanding and harmony through music.
