Singer songwriter and player of all the instruments on the CD. I suppose I was the recording engineer too. The songs are about or associated with the town where I live- Bo'ness in East Central Scotland, about 20 miles from Edinburgh, and 10 miles from the Forth Bridges.

Story behind the song
It is about how the whalers used to leave port and be away for months at a time, then return home to wives/sweethearts, and it was a great occasion. I've an interest in local history, and particularly the part music plays in passing on the history from generation to generation.I found a fragment of this song, and wrote my words and tune around it,in the hope of getting somewhere near what the original might have been. Who knows?
