Lyrics
'Callianne' You sound like you've heard it all before Somewhere in that rich and rusty past Smiles have beckoned from the open door And pity for a love that couldn't last And the blue is brighter than the black And someone calls your name familiar sweet You must know you're never goin' back Just beyond the distance we will meet And will you always be there? And will you let the words cross your lips? As heaven is my saviour I can follow waves from taller ships Callianne, d'you hear me callin'? I'm so far away I wonder why Callianne, I think I'm fallin' Far beyond the danger of your sky I've known other sailors on the shore And sometimes they look better on the land But nobody could ever love you more I'm adrift without your guiding hand Callianne, d'you hear me callin'? I'm so far away I wonder why Callianne, I think I'm fallin' Far beyond the danger of your sky Callianne, you have my treasures Lost below the ocean in a storm Callianne, a simple pleasure Take me in your warm and lovin' arms © Maria Daines/Paul Killington

ZEST RADIO SHOW
Dec 30, 2008
Callianne is song that gives me shivers from the first note onward. Maria and Paul show that their hearts belong to all living things that grace the greatest gift to humanity, planet earth. I have had the distinct honour to be able to feature this song on my radio show many, many times. And, each time I listen, the tears well up and drop into the sea of resonance of compassion for our friends of the sea whose lives are becoming horrendously endangered as time quickly passes. Thank you for all you do to create awareness and compassion for all living creatures great and small !!!! Peace, and respect, ZEST
