The Eureka Swings hail from Eureka Springs Arkansas and comprise of the wonderfully talented vocals of Gina Gallina-Jones formerly of The Camptown Ladies (winner of the Prarie Home Companions Towns Under 2000 Contest), Steve Jones on guitar (formerly of The Jones Brothers), Chuck Ornofrio on fiddle (formerly of The Doe Brothers) and Dan Redmond on upright bass (formerly of The Hack Band). Together they play a type of Hillbilly Swing whose sound is all their own. Drawing inspiration from artists like Louis Armstrong, Kay Starr, Django Rheindhardt, Ella Fitzgerald, The Mills Brothers, Louis Prima and Cats and The Fiddle the Eureka Swings are striving to keep the sound of traditional jazz alive.
