I started getting into making beats around 2000. Got put on to it by my man Reewyne Selecta. I make beats the old-fashion (meaning its actually Hip Hop) kinda way: dig for samples, cut em up, lay down some hard hitting drums. I use Cool Edit and FL Studio, don't let the price tag of the equip fool you, there's alot of shit you can do with just those two pieces of software and a love for what it is you are doing. You got cats that got daddy and mommie to dish out 2G for a Triton, but they don't know their Skull Snaps from their Honeydrippers.
