Story behind the song
This song I wrote while in Poland. The idea was at me for a week or so. It's about love, and how people say love is blind. normally this refers to one person being cheated by the other, in emotional terms lets say, but every so often, the potential victim is on to them!! Feedback Welcome :) colmbarrymusic@eircom.net
Lyrics
Blind when it Comes to Love’ From the albums 'Chapter One-In the Beginning', ‘My Slaney Rose’ and ‘A Decade of Song 1993-2003’ Whoever said that love was blind, was wiser than I thought She thought because she loved me once, she could take everything I got After spending all my money, she left me deep in strife But just in time I found my mind, that’s why I left that night Cos she’s so blind blind blind when it comes to love But I was saved in the nick of time by the man above Well she thought she could bring me down on my knees And have me begging for mercy She’s so blind blind blind when it comes to love She’s only after money, that’s the way it goes You give her an inch, she’ll take a mile, buying makeup and buying clothes I’d love to see how far she’ll get without money and a car She’ll live on luck for just a while but her luck will only last so far Cos she’s so blind blind blind when it comes to love But I was saved in the nick of time by the man above Well she thought she could bring me down on my knees And have me begging for mercy She’s so blind blind blind when it comes to love Copyright Control Composed: Colm Barry
