Story behind the song
Jennifer Carey (Tuba) wrote the story of a runaway circus train being saved by a monkey conductor. Then I wrote the song.
Lyrics
Outside of Corpus Christy where the livin' is risky. There was a train careening off the tracks. The engineer died of an apparent suicide or it might have been a heart attack. It was a circus train that was run by a man who was the meanest guy of his age. The humans all died, bleeding from there eyes, in a train contained bubonic plague. Move over fucker, for the monkey conductor. Casey Jones is dead. Move over fucker for the monkey conductor. That's what the animals said. The animals cried, fearing they would die as that train rocked about that fatal day. The monkey was brave. All their lives he would save. If they just got out of his way. Finally the monkey made it to the engine car and he handled it like a pro. The monkey conductor, he had come so far, the animals cried "go, go go."
