Story behind the song
I first heard this great traditional song done by "The Notting Hillbillies" about 12 years ago, and have been doing it ever since. This version was reocorded live on an 8-track cassette porta studio by Jim Galubic at the crystola inn in Crystola, Colorado. Personel of the night were: Mo' Kauffey guitar/vocals, Tim Costello on electric guitar, Steve Hoke on his trimiester(elec.guitar/mandolin/6-string fiddle, playing slide on the mando)stevehoke.com , Kim Stone on bass and Randy Bowen on drums. Hoot at the beginning was someone in the audience. Thanks to all who participated.
