He is 53 and has since 1994 focused on writing and recording. His 1996 first CD, Rollin' is 11 songs of life's joys and sorrows. His Second CD was recorded in late 2001 and includes a song about the Twin Tower Tragedy. After touring with the Navy in the late 70's as a lead guitarist in the midwest, he went on to get a piano performance degree, and was deeply influenced by Beethoven's 32 piano sonata's and pianist Claudio Arrau. After studies at Northeastern University in Chicago in the early 80's, he went on to get a piano performance degree. Then after years of CW, and RR band's in Chicago, he relocated to his home in Mathews Va.,and began serious composing in the mid 90's. In January, 2003, Roland got his first computer, and has been since that time practicing the art of Computer Communication in Music. He has some new songs ready to record, and looks forward to recording an eclectic album of songs about the cliches of computer terminology, and some songs of other differnt styles.

I was working as a security guard at BFI in  King and Queen County, Va., and I had a lot of spare time, so I wrote this song.

SHE DID THE CRIME  I fell deep in Love the day I met her. In 
Blindness I felt she could do no wrong. I 
wanted to be with that girl forever. But That
was long before I wrote this song.
We started spending every night together.
My world was getting brighter every day.
I wanted to be with that girl forever.I never
dreamed that I would ever say.
She did the Crime and I did the Time. There's no 
such thing as justice anymore. She stole my
heart and tore my world apart. She threw away my 
happiness and locked the door. I testified in my
heart's defense, but her cheatin' litigation made
a plea. She lied and got aquitted and destroyed the
evidence,thats how She did the Crime and I did the
time(instrumental break)
It started with a phone call from her mother. 
A family friend was comin' into Town. The friend turned out to be 
her other lover. Now there in Love and my world's
upside down. I cought her makin Love to him one
Mornin'. It must have been before the break of
dawn. My sorrow turned to rage and then I shot her.
Now the only one I ever loved is gone.
