Currently, she performs at events and gatherings throughout the Mid-West, and is working on a series of CD's to celebrate the Wheel of the Year.

Questing for the mystery of life can get old.

To find the mystery of all the beauty it holds.

Still no secret is calling
Just the peices of a beautiful rose.

It's gone now, you know- you can't make it not so.
You can put it back together again,
But what life it did hold, is no longer within,
Just the remnants and the peices of the whole

It's like moving through a labyrinth snare
Taking passage by passage with care.
When you're sure that you've beat it,you find you're defeated
Back in the middle of the labyrinth's snare.

It's gone now you know - you can't make it not so.
You can put it back together again,
But what life it did hold, is no longer within,
Just the remnants and the pieces of the whole.

All the living and the giving it imparts.

I wrote lyrics and music to this song in the early 90's, but it was not perfected until Donna L. tweaked the lyrics as we sat in the dining room planning the songs for the CD ..  The quest for answers is unending. Holding the flower in your hand..and studying the petals, each petal is a little different than the one before.  In the quest for answers we keep plucking the petals and looking, 'till at the center of the flower, we find seeds ready to be planted to grow and to bloom..more petals. humm, imagine that... Sounds like a circle, but really it's an infinite Spiral, made possible by the energy of the quest, by the experience and by the knowledge and wisdom gained on the journey.  (As a side note... what are You doing with your petals? Pluck well, Grasshopper  ;-)
