I have been meaning to pick this up for over a year now, and Finally I have and what a fucking amazing buy it was. With 2 lives disks and one studio (The calm before the storm) this really rules. First the two live cds are great, all I can ask for from the legendary band that started it all. All of the songs are played raw as hell and faster then I have ever heard them. Cronos' vocals are top notch. Again the pure rawness of these disks Is the highlight of them, It is the way speed metal should be played. And then we have The Calm Before the Strom which is proboly my favorite Venom release of all time. It starts with BlackXmas which is one of the best on the album, a speed/black metal masterpeice, with killer riffs, great tharshy drumming and amazing vocals. Next the chanting of the priests, what can I say but its my favorite song on the whole album with the best chorus on the whole album. So all of you wippersnapers out there who are just getting into Venom, BUY THIS!!!!!!!! Other highlights: Black metal (live), Die hard (live) Muscle, and Gypsy. A true satanic masterpiece.
