Hailing from Brazil, Tuatha De Danann play music that is best described as Irish, and they do it rather well. They are similar to Mago De Oz but not quite so polished, which is a good thing really. They have their own unique style to bring to proceedings. Kicking of with a tuneful wail of pipes "The Dance of the Little Ones" sets the tone for the whole album, a rocking toe tapper. I defy anybody to sit still or refrain from singing along with the songs on offer. The next couple of songs continue in the same vein until midway through the next track "Tan Pinga Ra Tan" when things get a little bizarre with some weird chanting, before settling down again. Next up is "Finganfor" which deserves a mention as being the only song I've ever heard that made me laugh out loud when listening to it! In the middle there is the line "Let's go to the magic palace of Finganfor" sung in a crazy high pitched voice which is totally incongruous. Some of the lyrics are almost like children's nursery rhymes whilst others are very well done, it all adds to the overall fun feel of the album. Normality returns with the tale of "Vercingetorix", and the acoustic "Celtia" wouldn't be out of place on Led Zeppelin III. It's back to the nursery for the title track, which is very enjoyable nonetheless and another acoustic piece closes the album. Overall this is definitely a "feel good" album and fans of Celtic folk metal should definitely check it out.

Lyrics
Give me your hands - Please leave here your fears! Let's fly away 'cause the past awaits us Forget your name and open your eyes The magic is done Here in the woods the elves dance and sing Sing to the birds from the moon and the trees They were your friends - great friends you've forgotten They dwell in your dreams Try to believe the magic is real - Look around you So run in the fields - Dance with the fairies And forget your rules - Welcome to our land Tan pinga ra tan - Tan pinga ra tan Tan pinga ra tan - Pinga ra tan Wonderful pleasures awaiting you here in our gorgeous land The dwarves hand by hand fairies calling for you Come with us - Let's drink the magic poison - our treasure Your mind will open - you'll never be the same Come here, dear friend, come to pinga ra tan... (elves) This magical land we hide will be your sweet paradise (fairies) Come to Tan pinga ra tan unite with the charmed ones (dwarves)
