Backed by an ambient pad, simple bass lines, and synthesizers, Rhodes steal the show in this song (a lot like my others). There's a small piano riff followed by a drum solo. I put in a few surprises in too. Take a guess, post it on the message board.

G. Allen combines jazzy vibes, Rhodes, strings, and synthesizers over modern electronic rhythms.
Inspired by such artist as Rae & Christian, Jazzanova, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Les Gammas, Minus 8, and many others of the electronic jazz scene, G. Allen decided to take matters into his own hands and start creating the music he loved in early 2002. G. Allen combines jazz styled piano with vibes, rhodes, strings, and synthesizers to make impressive grooves.

Story behind the song
My inspiration for this song is a lot like many others. It started with a beat that had been going through my head. On this particular occasion, I was walking back to my dorm at school when the beat came into my mind. As soon as I got to my room I immediately sat down and laid the beat down in Fruityloops (you'll actually hear the beat in the beginning of the song). Then from there I started playing around with stuff and before long I've got the beginnings of a song layout. As far as the song title goes, it's a while different story. After I finished to song, I'm trying to think of what to name it based on something that the song makes me think about and finally it hit me. Winds. The airy pad made me think of winds, strong winds, the kind of winds that we get it Southern California particularly during the summer months. We call these Santa Ana's, but I thought that name "Santa Ana Winds" sounded wack so I decided on "Summer Winds".
