Lyrics
Your voice from down the hall Lost in the morning fog I don’t hear it anymore I’m miles away, miles away Cold hearts out of grace The sun rising in the rain All start to look the same From miles away, miles away It’s sure been great to know you I tried every way to show you But I won’t wait any longer My yesterday, my yesterday Prayed you would open and Let out your heart again We touched something holy then You turned away, you turned away It’s sure been great to know you I tried every way to show you But I won’t wait any longer My yesterday, my yesterday You know I hate to give up Watch while my world splits up But this time I’m really gone My yesterday, my yesterday Wait, wasn’t there magic in her eyes Wait, was that some promise in disguise Wait, was she the one I’ll never find It all starts to look the same From miles away, miles away © 2003 Hunter Payne / all rights reserved Samgita Publishing (ASCAP) www.hunterpayne.com
