Prototype2 comprises two recording labels, licensing department, production suite and live set. The company is currently gaining recognition across the globe, from fans and producers alike. The prototype label is building momentum with its first 12" release Techfunk/Solar2 e.p. The label, run solely by Michael Peters, strives to produce quality modern tech-funk and electronica. The other label, Cirrus Recordings is the little brother label of Prototype2 and has a much more laid back almost detroit feel, as opposed to the harder-edged techy Prototype imprint. Cirrus fuses minimal laid back techno with soulful grooves, the outcome being a unique form of music to drive modern living.
