SMF is the result of an evolution from my days at university. It all began when I first moved into halls at the start of my first year. The guy that lived across the hall had an Amiga with some kind of tracker software. Whenever he went out, I'd be sat on the floor in his room experimenting with samples... My first ever track, I remember pretty well, mainly because it used some samples I'd recorded from Monty Python's 'The Life of Brian'...and, as you can imagine, made all my flatmates roll about laughing! From those humble student days, I'd like to think that my skill has matured... This is where SMF comes in.
