** To purchase Julie's debut album: Julie Layne Bloeth is a composer. lyricist and vocalist. She describes her style as eclectic. Combining Country, Folk, Adult Contemporary and Singer-Songwriter, she's created a genre all her own. She draws from world events, her own experiences and those of the people she meets to create her unique songs and acoustic sound. "While it's difficult to put yourself 'out there,' you reach a point in your life where you can either share what you've learned or hide behind wishful thinking. My father once said to me "...leave the past where it belongs... we're all the sum of our experiences." My parents have shared their wisdom with me and I hope they'll be proud to know I've learned so much from them. My music is the sum of my experiences, and if I touch just one person with it, I've done what I've set out to do." Julie's debut album, entitled "Some Days" is currently available for sale! Lyrics
Julie Layne Bloeth/Rob Perry Guitars: Rob Perry - WOW, huh? Inspired in part by recent events at the Russian School and 9/11... Prolific words of wisdom fail me when I need them most Sorrow washes over me like whispers from a ghost Raising goose bumps on my skin We're living in a nightmare again (Chorus) Tell me it's only a dream Oh, but when I open my eyes History repeats itself it seems Smoke darkens bluer skies I cannot comprehend the inhumanities Perpetrated in the name of God by enemies Though we fight to save our freedom We're held captive by the mission (Repeat Chorus) I don't know what to tell my children anymore How can I explain to them what all this fighting's for In a world where terror rules They're not even safe in school (Repeat Chorus) © 2004 Sounds From The Hound Publishing (BMI)/Julie Layne Bloeth (ASCAP)
